Train Founding Bassist Charlie Colin Dies at 58

Tragic Accident in Shower

Charlie Colin, a founding member of the Grammy-winning pop-rock band Train, has died at the age of 58. According to TMZ, Colin slipped and fell in the shower while house-sitting for a friend in Indiana. He was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Musical Legacy

Colin was an integral part of Train since its inception in 1994. He played bass on the band's hit songs, including "Drops of Jupiter" and "Meet Virginia." Train has sold over 10 million albums worldwide and won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2002 for "Drops of Jupiter."

Colin's sister confirmed his death to CBS News, expressing her shock and devastation. The band has not yet released a statement on his passing.
